Express add scoring touch

PRESS RELEASE

ESPANOLA EXPRESS

The latest player joing the Express train for the upcoming 2016-2017 season is Terrace Bay, On. native Tristan Salesse. The 20 year old 5’11” 180lbs forward comes to Espanola via trade with the Timmins Rock. The skilled veteran posted 34 goals and 41 assists for 75 points in 43 games last season with the Rock. Posting 1.74 points per game last season, Tristan finished the season 7th overall in the league for goals scored and 9th overall for total points. The addition of Salesse will help the Express with their offensive game and immediately make the power play more effective. “Tristan is a legitimate goal scorer and will be a challenge for opposing teams to keep him at bay,” claimed Head Coach Rapcewicz. “Tristan brings scoring, experience and leadership to the table and is one of a few new pieces we will be adding to the new look Express,” added Rapcewicz.

Heading to the Timmins Rock will be 98 birth year Joel Grandbois. The young forward has some offensive ability as well, scoring 21 goals and 17 assists for 38 points in 51 games last season, finding his stride late in the season last year.  “We wish Joel all the best of luck next season and hope he is successful with his new team,” stated Express President Chad Clarke.
