The Espanola Express have released their ticket pricing for game nights and season tickets for the upcoming 2015-2016 season. There will be 28 regular season games played at the Rec center with a total of 56 regular season games. The Express will be playing against 11 teams in the league. Playing out of the western division, most games for the Express will be against the Blind River Beavers, Rayside Balfour Canadiens (former Nickel Barons), Elliot Lake Wildcats, Soo Thunderbirds and Soo Eagles based on the Michigan side of the border. However fans will still see eastern division teams in Espanola as these teams will each host a home game to opposing division teams over the season. Playing a unbalanced schedule in divisions helps the teams reduce costs for travel by a signifigant amount of money, which is a smart league concept to help keep ever growing costs lower. The Eastern Division teams will be as follows, Powassan Voodoos, Kirkland Lake Gold Miners, Abitibi Eskimos, Timmins Rock, French River Rapids and Cochrane Crunch. The season will begin right after labour day weekend in the first week of September. Season ticket sales will go on sale this week, with a one night early bird sale for last years season ticket holders to come back and get the same seats they had last year. “We would like to show our gratitude to our great season ticket holders for their support over the last two seasons and offer them their same seats for the upcoming season”, stated owner Jason Rapcewicz. The early bird sale for last season ticket holders will be on Thursday May 28th at the complex lobby from 5-8pm. Then the official launch of season ticket sales will begin with fans able to purchase tickets at the Espanola Mall on Friday May 29th from
