Veterans transportation held their annual “stuff the bus” campaign and the Espanola Express were ecstatic to partner up and help stock the Espanola food bank. With Thanksgiving right around the corner the Express were back helping in the community once again and this time it was collecting food items to ensure that everyone in our community had a great meal this holiday weekend. The Espanola Express gave a way an official Express jersey on Friday nights game against the Powassan Voodoos and everyone who brought a non perishable food item to the game recieved a ticket for the draw. The Express and their great fans together collected 6 boxes of food items and a great cash donation for the Espanola Helping Hands food bank. The campaign collected over 5200 food items for the food bank across the city and almost double what was collected last year. The Espanola Express would like to thank Morgan Lachance for participating in our event and winning the official Express jersey.
