SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) announced Friday that Lucas Signoretti (Espanola Paper Kings); Felix Cadieux-Fredette (Timmins Rock); Andrew Gaulton (Espanola Paper Kings) and Patrice Lafontaine (Iroquois Falls Storm) have been named its Forward; Defenceman; Goaltender and Rookie of the Month, respectively, for February.
FORWARD OF THE MONTH – LUCAS SIGNORETTI, ESPANOLA PAPER KINGS: An impressive February that saw Signoretti etch his name on the game sheet in all nine outings he appeared in, which featured eight multi-point performances, while collecting 26 points in total to extend his lead in the NOJHL scoring race.
The 19-year-old from Kinborn, Ont., tallied 10 times during the time frame and helped set-up 16 others for the Paper Kings.
Presently topping all league skaters in offensive production, Signoretti has a NOJHL-best 103 points in just 45 games played on 43 goals and 60 assists.

DEFENCEMAN OF THE MONTH – FELIX CADIEUX-FREDETTE, TIMMINS ROCK: Garnering the accolades for a second-straight month, Cadieux-Fredette was only held pointless once in nine contests, topping all league blueliners with 13 points.
The 20-year-old Ottawa product scored three times and dished out 10 helpers in seeing Timmins extend their lead atop the NOJHL’s East Division.
With points in 16 of 17 outings since the New Year began, the Rock captain has moved into third spot in offensive numbers among league defencemen, with 54, in 51 match-ups.

GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH – ANDREW GAULTON, ESPANOLA PAPER KINGS: A stellar February saw the 17-year-old from Bowmanville, Ont., win each of his five starts, while his only setback came in a 24-minute relief stint in which he only allowed one puck to get past him on 21 attempts.
In all, Gaulton led all NOJHL netminders in both goals-against average and save percentage last month at 1.42 and .964 respectively, while posting one shutout.
His recent efforts between the pipes for the Paper Kings has helped him move into fifth spot among league goalkeepers in average at 2.85, while his save mark of .927 places him second overall.

ROOKIE OF THE MONTH – PATRICE LAFONTAINE, (F) IROQUOIS FALLS STORM: The first-year Storm skater averaged over a point-per-game for Iroquois Falls over the period with 11 in nine contests.
Lafontaine supplied six markers and dished out five apples along the way.
Hailing from Timmins, the 18-year-old from Timmins has appeared in 44 NOJHL games in his rookie campaign to date and has 26 points to his credit, featuring 14 goals. This includes six tallies in his past half dozen appearances.
